Namibia Youth
Invitational
The Namibia Youth Invitational is an initiative proudly founded by Gravity Sport Solutions. Established in 2023, the tournament was first hosted at Windhoek High School’s iconic Vegkop Rugby Stadium in Windhoek.
Originally launched as an U19 rugby showcase, the tournament expanded in its third year to include Boys’ Field Hockey, reflecting its growing profile and commitment to multi-sport development.
The primary purpose of the Namibia Youth Invitational is to provide Namibian school athletes with the opportunity to compete on home soil against strong opposition from beyond our borders allowing our players to perform in front of their families, communities, and supporters.
Looking ahead to 2026, we are excited to broaden the tournament further with the addition of Schools Netball, continuing our vision of creating a premier youth sporting event for Namibia

Gravity Desert Cup
The Desert Stallions is a pioneering concept in Namibia, officially inaugurated in 2024. Players are selected from the Namibia Youth Rugby Invitational based on not only their performances but as well on the bases of showing they are coachable and wanting to go further in the sport and ready to be developed, ensuring that only the most dedicated join the program.
The Desert Stallions initiative is designed not only to develop players’ rugby or sport abilities, but also to teach a holistic way of life aligned with the program’s Vision and Mission. It aims to prepare young athletes for their future both on and off the field.
This innovative platform introduces aspiring rugby players to a semi-professional environment, where they receive professional coaching, learn the value of positive discipline, understand the importance of commitment, and are equipped with the mindset required to compete at higher levels in sport and in life.
The program is driven by a highly passionate and capable management team, ensuring the best possible experience and growth for each player. It continues to serve as an exceptional avenue for young athletes to enhance not only their sporting abilities, but also their personal and life skills.
In 2025, following the Namibia Youth Invitational, Field Hockey was officially incorporated into the Desert Stallions system, further broadening the program’s reach and opportunities for youth development.
